Consolidated Dealer Services

We Are a Disruptive and Differentiated, End-to-End Transportation Service Provider.

Auction wins, dealer-to-dealer trades, store-to-store redistribution. Nationwide dealer trade shipping with no minimums — same priority on a single unit as a fifty-car contract. All 50 states and Canada on 8,200+ vetted carriers.
Open Transport

For inventory where one paint chip costs more than the entire transport. Halo cars, exotic pre-owned, customer-sold specials, OEM allocations. Photo condition inspection at pickup and delivery. From the F-150 trade to the high-line customer fulfillment — one carrier.
Enclosed Transport

Single drivable unit, professionally driven — instead of burning a porter for nine hours. Compliance verified before delivery: plates, registration, stickers, temporary tags. Services completed en route — detailing, recall remediation, glass. Carrier transport delivers as-is. Driveaway delivers ready to sell. [Learn more about Driveaway →](/shippers/vehicles/driveaway)
Driveaway

Out-of-state titles cleared faster by starting work at pickup, not at delivery. State-to-state transfers, lien releases, temporary tags, in-transit permits — all 50 states and Canada. County-level expertise, where dealer audit issues actually surface.
Title & Registration

Auction win Tuesday, no room until next week — hold it. Customer-ordered allocation arrives early — hold it. Daily, weekly, monthly rates at 60+ secure facilities positioned near major auction sites. Floor-plan flexibility without floor-planning the unit.
Storage

Direct-to-buyer fulfillment from any rooftop. Condition documentation at pickup and delivery. Same dispatch system as the rest of your moves — no third-party last-mile vendor.
Home Delivery

Detailing, recall remediation, glass replacement, PDR, and make-ready completed in transit or at our facilities. The unit arrives ready to merchandise — not ready to send to recon.

Dealer Auto Transport FAQ

Dealer auto transport is the professional shipping of vehicles between dealerships, auctions, customers, and storage facilities. RPM Moves provides open and enclosed transport, driveaway, secure storage at 60+ locations, and reconditioning services for franchise and independent dealerships across all 50 states and Canada. One vendor, one invoice, one workflow from auction win through retail-ready delivery.

Dealer auto transport costs depend on distance, vehicle type, transport mode (open vs. enclosed), lane density, and volume. Multi-vehicle and recurring-lane pricing typically lowers per-unit cost meaningfully. Request a free lane audit for lane-specific pricing.

The largest cost reductions usually come from consolidating vendors (broker markup, admin time per VIN), compressing floor-plan interest exposure (parallel title processing, in-transit reconditioning), and eliminating dwell at auction and at receiving lots. The per-mile carrier rate is typically not the largest cost line for a dealership.

Out-of-state title transfers vary by originating state DMV, county recorder, lien holder, and current backlog. Electronic-title states clear faster than paper-title states, and cross-border (U.S./Canada) transfers take longer than domestic transfers. Salvage and rebuilt-branded units take longer still, since they require inspection. Starting title work at pickup rather than at delivery compresses the calendar by the transit days.

Single-unit moves are handled at the same priority as multi-car or contract volume. No minimums, no long-term commitments. The same dispatch system processes a one-car auction-win move and a fifty-unit redistribution.

Yes. RPM dispatches carriers at all major auction networks including Manheim, ADESA, ACV, and Copart, plus independent auction locations. Pickup coordination follows each auction's release-window and storage-grace policies.

Driveaway moves a single drivable unit using a professional driver, with compliance and condition verified before delivery and optional en-route services like detailing, recall, and glass. Carrier transport moves vehicles on a multi-unit trailer (open or enclosed) and delivers them as-is. Driveaway is typically the better choice for in-region trades, customer deliveries within driving range, and single high-value units. Driveaway is offered as a commercial service for dealer and fleet accounts.

Open transport carries 7–10 vehicles on a multi-level open trailer, the most economical mode for standard inventory. Enclosed transport carries 2–6 vehicles inside a fully covered trailer, used for halo, exotic, certified luxury, and OEM allocations. Enclosed transport costs more per mile than open, with the spread depending on lane and vehicle.

Yes. Cross-border transport between the U.S. and Canada is handled in-house, including customs documentation, carrier dispatch, and provincial registration coordination, rather than being passed to a third-party broker. This applies to single units and multi-unit moves.
